A legendary Pacific sailfish spot pays off once again
by Dave Ferrell
The sailfish cooperated very well on a Guatemala trip to Casa Vieja. I think we caught 18 on the last fishing day to win a little mini tournament we had going! We also had quite a few good dorado to keep us full of mahi sandwiches come lunch time. We visited at the end of the season in April, but still had 15 to 30 sailfish bites every day. It’s hard to beat the numbers you see in Guatemala.
