Built in 1991 by renowned custom boatbuilder Billy Knowles in Stuart, Florida, A-Fin-ity brings serious sportfishing pedigree to the Casa Vieja fleet. With her classic express design, unobstructed 360-degree views, and spacious fishing cockpit, she’s built to keep anglers close to the action. Outfitted with top-of-the-line conventionaland fly-fishing tackle, electric teaser reels, and all the comforts needed for a full day offshore, A-Fin-ity is a proven fishing machine that lets the results speak for themselves.

She’s had a few names and a few adventures, but one thing hasn’t changed: this boat was built to fish. Originally launched in 1989 as Jolly Roger, later known as Jungle Rules in Costa Rica, Rum Line made Guatemala her home in 2008. A major 2018 refit brought twin 500HP Cummins engines, modern Simrad electronics, a watermaker, cold AC, and comfortable mezzanine seating. One of Guatemala’s premier charter boats, this 40-footer combines classic craftsmanship with a fast, comfortable ride powered by twin 450HP Cummins Diamond Series engines. With premium tackle, Simrad electronics, a climate-controlled cabin, and a fully automatic watermaker, she’s equipped for serious days offshore. No gimmicks. Her name says it all. Built in 1972 as Caliban III for Roy Merritt’s grandfather, this historic 43′ Merritt, Hull #19, joined our fleet in January 2025, repowered with Cummins Engines in summer of 2026 and upgraded brand new mezzanine. A beautiful example of classic wooden sportfish craftsmanship, La Chingona offers plenty of room to fish, comfortable seating, and an air-conditioned cabin for those who appreciate a little luxury offshore. Nearly half a century of history brought her to Guatemala, where she’s now writing her next chapter chasing Pacific billfish. And yes, she’s every bit as badass as her name.

A little crazy? Maybe. A whole lot of boat? Absolutely. This 44′ Kincheloe Nickerson arrived in Guatemala in 2018 and underwent an extensive renovation, bringing new life to another classic wooden sportfish. With spacious bridge and mezzanine seating, an open salon, two staterooms, two heads, and advanced Simrad electronics, Poco Loco offers the space and comfort of a much larger vessel. Whether you’re working a sailfish in the cockpit or kicking back between bites, there’s plenty of room to enjoy the ride.

Originally built in 1979 as Walker’s Run to cruise the Bahamas, this beautiful 48′ Whiticar spent decades in private hands before joining Casa Vieja Lodge in June 2023. With her classic lines, spacious fishing cockpit, comfortable salon, and privatestateroom, Pica Más offers the perfect balance of old-school craftsmanship and offshore comfort. She’s traded leisurely Bahamian cruising for Guatemala’s billfish-rich Pacific waters, and the sailfish are keeping her plenty busy. Turns out, she wasborn for this.
