Join us in the fourth annual 2026 Trophy Husbands Invitational June 19-21, fishing Father’s Day weekend, because what else could a Trophy Husband ask for. Well… not our department.

In the same format as our illustrious No Sancocho Sailfish Shootout, teams will put their money where their mouth is, as a Sancocho, or missed bite, will cost the angler $20, marlin =$50. The monies raised will go towards improving local schools in Puerto San Jose. At our 2024 Invitational, we raised $11,637.33 from sancochos, anglers and sponsors that matched donations, as well as past clients. That money goes a long way in Guatemala!

At the end of the three-day tournament, the team with the most points wins. You and three/four teammates choose the combination of bait and fly casting that you think will earn you the most points based on the scale below:

• Marlin released on fly—100 points
• Marlin released on 50—30 points
• Marlin released on 30—50 points
• Sail released on fly—25 points
• Sail released on bait—10 points

Teams may be made of Trophy Husbands, wives who put up with them, friends who support them, relatives that drink with them, and kids that aspire to be them.

The tournament entry fee is $1,500 per team. Trophy Husbands, time to unite!
