Fishing Report
Fishing has stayed relatively hot this April, with a few slow days here and there, and then bounced back up to 30+ bite days. More marlin have been coming into the spread making it exciting for everyone aboard. In May and June, we’ll start to see more mahi and blue marlin in abundance, and a shorter run for tuna.

- April 1st-26th, the Makaira (37′ Rybovich) with Capt. Jason Brice had 432 raises, 364 bites, and 252 sailfish releases plus 8 marlin raises, 8 marlin bites, 5 marlin releases (2 striped marlin), 1 tuna, and 5 mahi-mahi.
- April 1st-28th, the Finest Kind (40′ Whiticar)with Capt. Nicho Alvarenga had 515 raises, 484 bites, 354 sailfish releases plus 6 marlin raises, 6 marlin bites, 3 marlin releases, 4 tuna, and 11 mahi-mahi.
- April 2nd-24th, the Afinity (39′ Billy Knowles)with Capt. Nico Melendrez, had 262 raises, 219 bites, 158 sailfish releases plus 3 marlin raises, 2 marlin bites, 2 marlin releases, 1 tuna, and 10 mahi-mahi.
- April 2nd-25th, the Rum Line (40′ Gamefisherman) with Capt. Terry Brennan had 281 raises, 248 bites, 180 sailfish releases plus 1 marlin raise, 1 marlin bite, 1 marlin release, 3 tuna, and 1 mahi-mahi.
- April 2nd-28th, The Hooker (48′ G&S)with Capt. David Salazar, had 414 raises, 374 bites, 233 sailfish releases plus 2 marlin raises, 2 marlin bites, 2 marlin releases, 4 tuna, and 27 mahi-mahi.
- April 3rd-25th, the Release (37′ Merritt) with Capt. Eddie Bairez had 238 raises, 199 bites, 138 sailfish releases, plus 8 marlin raises, 7 marlin bites, 3 marlin releases, 1 tuna, 4 roosterfish, and 20 mahi-mahi.
- April 4th-24th, the Spindrift (38′ Stolper) with Capt. Franz Hoffman had 151 raises, 121 bites, 86 sailfish releases plus 3 marlin raises, 3 marlin bites, 1 marlin release, and 4 mahi-mahi!
- April 4th-25th, the Pez Raton (35′ Contender), with Capt. Benji Baires, had 182 raises, 146 bites, and 99 sailfish releases plus 3 marlin raises, 1 marlin bite, 1 marlin release, and 7 mah-mahi.
