22,128 sailfish releases!
We did it, anglers!!! Even with a full Casa Vieja Lodge shutdown for 3 whole months for construction on a brand new pool, we still managed to lap the total numbers from the year before!
Over the course of 2025, our fleet managed an impressive 39,044 sailfish raises, 33,761 bites, and 22,128 sailfish released.
When compared to the year before that, this is a 9.7% increase in total releases, building on what was already a record-setting pace the year prior. Raises also saw a notable jump, increasing by over 16%, while total bites also climbed by just about 13.5%.
As for Marlin, we are proud to say we had 856 raises, 615 bites, and 348 releases (combination of black, blue, and striped marlin)!!! An incredible 28%, 26.5% and 9% increase in raises, bites and releases respectfully.
Last but never least, our fleet recorded 356 tuna and 1,799 dorado throughout 2025. Though a little bit lower in numbers than the year before, there was still more than enough good eats to go around!
A massive thank you to each and every angler who showed up and helped contribute to these astounding, record-breaking numbers for 2025!
