Trophy Husbands Unite
If you are a Trophy Husband, Father, or an ordinary husband that deserves to be treated like the Trophy Husband you are, then you need to join our first annual Trophy Husbands Invitational this Father’s Day weekend, June 16-18. Following the format of the No Sancocho Sailfish Shootout, for every missed bite, or Sancocho, the angler will donate $20 regardless of Trophy Husband status, with the total proceeds to help local schools in Puerto San Jose. Teams can be up to 5 people, and the Team Entry fee is $1,500.
Get together a team of strapping trophy husbands, or the amazing women that support them, and get ready for a Father’s Day like you’ve never had before! For more information on the Trophy Husbands Invitational CLICK HERE. To sign up, send us an email HERE.
Bring your Friends Fishing
Last month, we hosted 24 women anglers who are members of the IWFA, International Women’s Fishing Association, for their 2023 Billfish Invitational. Established in 1955 to promote women’s fishing in an arena primarily dominated by men. Over the years it has become one of women’s most prestigious fishing clubs, setting the standards for conservation and promoting angling competition among women. To help further one of its chartered objectives, the field of conservation, the IWFA established the IWFA Scholarship Trust to provide financial aid to marine science graduate students. Our annual groups from Lipman Produce, and the Offshore Brazillian Championships, amongst a handful of other wonderful groups/families/friends/colleagues took over the lodge, fished hard, relaxed like they never have, and ate like kings and queens! We are grateful that you continue to choose your extended family at Casa Vieja Lodge!
If you are interested in hosting a tournament, FUNament, graduation trip, or a large group you can find more info HERE, but you MUST book your multiple boat groups 1-2 years in advance. We are currently booking into 2025 for corporate groups.
