CVL Loves Pink!
Since October has become globally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness month, companies all across the globe are dedicating this month to thinking Pink! So to honor that Think Pink spirit, Casa Vieja Lodge has reached out to one of our favorite fishing brands, the creators of those eye-catching fishing flags you might’ve seen around: Ladies Love Pink!
You’ve probably spotted these fun pink flags on our social media or maybe at a fishing tournament somewhere in the world. That’s because these pink fishing flags have gained traction with many lady anglers all over the globe, and at Casa Vieja Lodge we love our lady anglers!
For this months’ newsletter, we reached out to Ladies Love Pink to ask them a little about their brand, their visions and why they do what they do, and here’s what they had to say:
“Our mission is simple: to represent all the ladies’ catches for those who love to fish. These pink flags are dedicated to celebrating and supporting lady anglers everywhere! We know that fishing is not just a hobby for some; it’s a way of life, a source of joy, and an exciting challenge. This is why our products are crafted by ladies who share this passion for fishing and a commitment to empowering Ladies in the sport, ensuring that every flag reflects the spirit and energy of anglers.
At Ladies Love Pink, we believe that each catch deserves to be celebrated and recognized. Our catch and release fishing flags are not only eye-catching but also serve to distinguish the ladies who catch them. They are made with high-quality materials, bronze gromets, crystal jewels and custom drawn fish while showcasing your love for the sport.
Join us in our journey to continue to create a supportive community for all ladies who love to fish. Together, we can make waves and show the world that fishing is for everyone!
Get hooked and keep fishing!”
If you’re a bad*ss lady angler and you want your own pink flag to fly, ask about them in our Casa Vieja Lodge Tiendita! And right now, Ladies Love Pink is selling their special edition Breast Cancer Awareness pink flags, check them out on their website today!

October Fishing Report
What an October it’s been! We may be in Spooky Season but the only thing scary around here has been how good our fishing numbers are looking…
Overall this month we saw 279 sailfish raises, 230 sailfish bites, and 194 sailfish releases! We’ve seen as many as 13 tuna in a single day; and just this week the Chilero had 3 blue marlin releases in one day!!
We’re really rounding home on this historic fishing year, and we’re dying for you to be a part of it with us! We’ve already lapped the total fishing numbers we saw last year, and are on good momentum to even see that number double!
If you’d like to see these incredible numbers for yourself, check out the cool Fishing Counter we’ve installed on our homepage! There you’ll see our total Billfishing Release numbers for 2024, plus the last five years as well!
